FCC testing is now complete on the Base and Tag! Both have passed FCC testing and we are awaiting issuance of their ID’s within the next week or so.
Addition of OpticX Camera EMC Shields
During FCC compliance testing of the OpticX Cameras (no IDs needed for the cameras), we found an EMC issue that was negatively affecting one of the Base’s tracking sensors. Although this issue did not have an impact on FCC certification, we are adding an internal shield component to each camera to ensure proper system level operation.
The shields have already been ordered but will add approx. 3 weeks to the shipping timeline. The new ship date targets by month ordered are listed in the shipping schedule below.
All other components are ready at the manufacturing site, and our estimated mass production start date is April 22. We are adding an extra 2 full weeks to the shipping timeline below to ensure that everything, from your SOLOSHOT3 gear to the software it is running, is ready to go.
Extended Customer Support
In preparation for shipping, we have extended our weekday Customer Support hours to be more available to customers across the country! We are now open M-F from 8 am - 7 pm CT.
